Q: Do I need to rejet the Carb if I install an Aftermarket Pipe?
A. Probably Not. Most jetting is determined by the fuel curve requirements of  the engine which is more affected by porting and intake changes. We recommend you install the pipe on an otherwise stock Zuma and evaluate it, 99.9% of the time, it is good stock.

Q: How much horsepower will the ZX pipe (or Big bore kit or Carb kit) give my ZUMA?
A. Truthfully, the increase is dramatic and totally noticeable with each kit, but since our Dyno will not read below 50 HP, we don't have an exact horsepower number

Q: Which Part should I install first?
A. We recommend the performance parts be installed in THIS order:  1.Pipe  2.Big Bore Kit and/or Carb kit 3.Variator kit 4. Primary Gear Set

Q: How fast (top speed) will my Zuma go after I install the 70cc or Pipe kit?
A. Your Zuma will not go any faster (top speed) by just installing a pipe or big bore kit. Your Zuma will make more power not more RPM, therefore it will be able to accelerate to the same top speed quicker. In order to go faster (top speed), you will need to change the gear ratios in the Primary drive (see the primary gear set kit) so that when the engine reaches it's maximum RPM the rear wheel will be turning faster than it is now.

NOTE: The Variator kit will add a small increase to the top speed (average 48-50 mph top speed) To get even more top speed, you will need to change the Primary Gear Set. (Change the gear set for more top speed at the expense of acceleration)

Q.  Who can I get to install these parts?
A. Ask your local dealer, or better yet, do it yourself! All parts come with complete instructions and there are no special tools required. Just your assorted metric hand tools and a little time is all you need.

Q. Is this "Performance Stuff" street legal?
A. in a word, NO. It is not legal to modify pollution controlled motor vehicles when used on the street. These performance parts, specifically 70cc kits, big carbs and pipes are designed and intended for off highway, competition use only.
