Jay's 1996 Royal Star Standard...er...Tour Deluxe?
Well, what can we say! This is the bike that started
our love affair with STARs!
Over the past 5 years this bike has seen many changes and is pictured
as it is today. The bike pictured is actually the first Royal Star we got
into stock in 1996 (Last years pics HERE).
Originally a Standard model, now a Tour Deluxe with full 2001 Tour deluxe
two tone red bodywork. This modification is not for the faint of heart as
it is not only VERY expensive but seems as if it will never end. There are
an unbelievable number of complexities to overcome. But now that it is
done, these pictures do not do it justice! Exhaust system consists of
Samson turn out slip ons on stock 2001 Venture "Y" sections. Original
front headpipe is utilized.
