In an effort to make sure women's voices are represented on the campaign trail, in the media and in the halls of power, Lifetime Television, CosmoGIRL!, Marie Claire and Redbook have joined forces to create the Every Woman Counts Coalition, a nonpartisan coalition of women, including media, advocacy groups and women of all political persuasions and demographics nationwide, who have joined together to engage women in the political process.
The Every Woman Counts Coalition includes women of all political persuasions and demographics and is committed to: ensuring that issues important to woman are raised throughout election season; encouraging women to consider running for public office at all levels; and motivating women to register and vote.
